Having taught in many different schools in Europe, I set up my own English language school in Malta: School of English Studies. I then moved to the Sultanate of Oman, in the Middle East, and taught English for Business, English for Professionals, English for Specific Purposes, and General Everyday English, at the Salalah College of Technology. I have been living in Ireland for the past few years, where I hold English language classes for foreign residents of different nationalities.

My four years of study covered many areas of linguistics, including phonetics, phonology, etymology, semantics, syntax, morphology, Indo-european languages, etc. My motherr tongue is English, but I am fluent in Italian and Maltese, and I also speak Maltese, Spanish, French and Arabic. My wide linguistic background and skills give me a broad perspective and a high degree of sensitivity to language learning and teaching.
