I was responsible fiscal and programmatic operations, conducting scholarly research and assisting the Charles Babbage Foundation and the Institute of Technology in fund-raising for the Institute. I raised the foundation endowment funds to a point where they now support the salary of the Director. I obtained two National Science Foundation multi-year, multi-investigator grants for studies of the Computer as a Scientific Instrument and the History of Software.
