Mark Edward Minie
Dr. Minie has extensive government, academic and industry experience in both bioresearch and IT. He has published research in cell and molecular biology as well as bioinformatics in peer reviewed scientific journals, and was an Affiliate Instructor with the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics. He has also worked for the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) teaching bioinformatics, and has served as a consultant to a wide range of clients including lawyers, investors and a noted science fiction writer. He currently teaches the University of Washington Educational Outreach Basic Biology Certificate PHARBE Program’s Molecular & Cellular Biology course (Modules I & II), the Cell Biology Seminar/Lab and Medical Chemistry for Engineers course in the Bioengineering Department's Medical Master’s Program.
