DAVE CEASAR F. DELA CRUZ, ccs, is a religious brother of the Confraternity of Catholic Saints and a faithful of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cubao. He earned the degree Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Religious Education at Santa Catalina College, Manila. In 2009, he graduated at the Paul VI Institute of Liturgy in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, receiving a Certificate of Competency in Pastoral Liturgy after completing the required liturgical formation and presenting the paper “The Relics of the Saints in the Liturgy,” which was approved on July 11, 2009, the memorial of Saint Benedict, by the Director, Rev. Fr. Anscar J. Chupungco, OSB. He continues deepening his liturgical formation by means of being a student of the Graduate School of Liturgy in San Beda College, Manila, for the M.A. in Liturgy.
He is a member of “Team Worship,” in which he serves as a resource person for seminars and liturgical formations to different parish and religious communities or houses of formation. At present, he serves the Church as a Campus Minister of Immaculate Conception Cathedral School, Cubao, Quezon City; a member of the Pastoral Team of the Diocese of Cubao-Ministry for Liturgical Affairs and as Diocesan Coordinator for the Ministry of Altar Servers; and as the Vice Postulator of the Cause for the Canonization of Blessed Ivan Merz of Croatia, the youngest to receive such office.
