Face to Face Teaching

My business partner, Lisa Bossi, and I create gift books, journals, and greeting cards that celebrate nature and family time. I create the concepts and write the text which Lisa translates into paintings. Together we package the projects.

My company was a sole proprietorship specializing in the the creation of marketing collateral and promotional campaigns for small and mid-sized businesses. Many of my clients were natural and gourmet food retailers, manufacturers and distributors as well as book publishers. In addition, I acted as a consultant and producer for large scale events such as Earth Day 25 and March For Parks and organized demo programs and post-race food pavilions for non-profits such as the American Heart Association

I owned two franchises in San Francisco. My day-to day involvement in the stores was in the capacity of CFO and Marketing Director. I created marketing campaigns to increase the stores' visibility, attract new customers, and boost sales and profitability. I was the full charge bookkeeper for the corporation and ran monthly, quarterly and annual profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

I was a partner in a small neighborhood natural foods store. I managed the daily operations of the shop, including ordering, stocking, preparing salads, cashiering, bagging, and customer service.
