About Kevin Yager

I was born and raised in Davenport, IA. I earned my teaching degree at the University of Northern Iowa and later completed post graduate work at the University of Houston. In 1988 I began my career in Alief ISD at Liestman Elementary. I transferred to Youngblood Intermediate when the campus opened in 1996. It was at Youngblood I met my wife, Amy. We have one terrific child, Benjamin. I have specialized in Mathematics Education for some time. I'm an active member of the National Education Association, the Texas Distance Learniong Association and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
