James has been trained by some of the world's leading Feng Shui teachers including Grand Master Lin Yun, Lillian Too, Seann Xenja, Masters Qin, Gong and Shu (China). He has been teaching workshops on BTB and Traditional Feng Shui throughout the United States, Europe, Mexico and Asia since 1993. James is acknowledged as one of the leading Feng Shui and China travel experts today.

Some of the magazines James has been featured in include "Natural Home", "Intuition", "Natural Health", "Massage", and "Billboard" as well as "The Washington Post" and "Amaluz" in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

James is co-creator of two critically acclaimed video productions, "Feng Shui: The Chinese Art of Design and Placement, and Feng Shui: Creating Sacred Space in Your Landscape or Garden".

Along with his wife, Helen, James Jay created one of the first Feng Shui Professional Training Programs in the United States. Their company
