30 Years of extensive practical teaching experience, graduate work, and professional development in all areas of Elementary Education. Passion for early literacy development & Differentiated Instruction.

Presently, I am teaching second grade in an economically, culturally and academically diverse school setting. My school is a building of about 550 fantastically wonderful students. This will be my 23rd year at this school!

Opened and operated a preschool/daycare facility based on Highscope curriculum. Partner still operates facility, as I move away from the area to be by family.

Worked with parents on a 1-1 tutorial basis in their homes, to develop a systematic plan for their child's learning needs. Students visited the center twice per week for classroom instruction, where I developed and implemented learning centers based on Highscope Curriculum.
