Movement-Based Methods Handwriting Skill Instruction

More than 25 years experience working in hundreds of schools as a handwriting specialist and more than 10 years of close work with motor science research on handwriting.

I provide specialist support services to teachers at all levels in hundreds of schools in multiple states. Working to improve handwriting skills and teaching methods in classrooms ranging from kindergarten through middle school levels, has allowed vast experience in needs identification and successful coaching techniques. I currently provide support service and teacher training on line.

I work with Dr. Hans-Leo Teulings and others at Neuroscript in research and development of software for human movement measurement with handwriting and for handwriting instruction. During the last ten years I have collected and analyzed many thousands of digital handwriting samples in elementary, middle schools and colleges preparing teachers. I have tested and run trials of software that is now the premier tool for motor research with handwriting and digitizers globally.
