In 2004 I achieved my National Board Certification in World Languages other than English (Spanish).
In 2003 - 2004, I created 4 new upper level Spanish courses to be offered as an alternative to the traditional college prep courses, Business Spanish, Medical Spanish, Legal Spanish and Social Services Spanish. These classes were to be offered as multi-level classes and students could take them as well as the regular college prep courses.
I was asked to present this concept at several language education conferences in 2006.
