The Atlanta Small Business Set Aside Program

Responsibilities included the following: Research on past Set-A-Side programs in other cities, writing and developing the program for the city of Atlanta along side the Chief Deputy Procurement Officer. The program will allow small businesses to compete against other small businesses of the same capacity. This experience will allow growth, expansion, and create employment opportunities. This model will allow the City to duplicate a Small Business Set-Aside Program on all large projects throughout the City of Atlanta. The program will improve access to Federal Government contract opportunities for small business concern.
