I graduated from Universidad de Concepción with the equivalent of a BA in Education, majoring in English and then went on to complete an MA in Linguistics at the same university.

I have been a teacher of English Language and Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) since 1994. Then I took the role of Director of the School of English Studies at Universidad San Sebastián from 2001 to 2008.

I have worked for the Chilean Ministry of Education as a teacher trainer and Consultant since 2001, running workshops focused on training high school English teachers in Language, methodology and the use of online and multimedia resources.

I have organized different Teacher Training programs for High School teachers in several regions of the country.
