Previously as Technology Education Specialist in Columbia, SC. I have been in education for 10 plus years and love how technology can enhance a classroom and engage student learning. My obsession for technology always flowed in to my classroom. When I left the classroom, I was able to share my ideas of how technology could be used in a classroom. First with teachers at my school and now I am lucky enough to be able to share ideas district-wide. I work with 10 schools in my district training and working with teachers to make the transition to technology rich lessons and classes. My latest fascination is with Web 2.0 tools. Blogs, Wikis, podcasting, iPods, social networking, etc. There are so many opportunities for students to learn with these tools. Educators need to realize learning is changing and we need to adjust.
