About Taalib Alexander

Taalib Alexander is an experienced and qualified teacher having previously worked as a lecturer in English, specialising in ELT and educational studies, at the Teachers College, Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Taibah University, Medina Munawwarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is currently the head teacher of Olive Tree Primary School, Luton, U. K.

He holds a certificate in Teaching Online (LeTTOL), an MA in language education specialising in Language Education (Goldsmiths College University of London), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in multilingual primary education (University of North London), a postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Languages to Adults (ESL/EFL) (Goldsmiths College University of London), and a Bsc (Hons) degree in Applied Social Science (University of North London).

He has taught from primary to postgraduate level in both the U. K and Saudi Arabia. He has also taught and designed seminars, workshops and short courses for lecturers, schoolteachers, preparatory teachers and educational administrators.

With over 16 years teaching, management and leadership experience in multicultural and multilingual educational contexts. Previously a Head Teacher responsible for teacher and staff assessment, curriculum development, NQT mentoring, problem resolution, fund raising and developing learning environments. I have planned a very successful classroom management and behavioural programme in which students develop a sense of pride and moral-awareness by competing for academic incentives for outstanding performance and behaviour.
