A Little Bit About Me……. My name is Susanne Wood. I am a graduate of Tallahassee Community College. I have a B.S. and a M.S. degree in Food & Nutrition and a M.S. degree in Health Education, all from Florida State University. I have been teaching at TCC for 18 years. I have taught a variety of health courses over the years, but am currently teaching HSC 1100 “Concepts of Positive Living” (personal health) and HSC 2122 “Consumer Health”. I love my field because it is never static…it’s always changing and is exciting. I enjoy my job immensely and love sharing with my students. My greatest reward at TCC is when a student improves their health/life because of something they have learned in my class. On the personal side, I am an audiophile……I love an eclectic range of music. I enjoy nature especially water….beaches, lakes, river, and streams. I am competitive (somewhat addicted to the Wii)!! The most important thing in my life are the people I love!! Susanne M.
