About Phyllis Satz

I am a mature female instructor with more than 40 years of teaching experience.

I have a Bachelor's Degree from Florida International University (highest honors), and all the coursework completed for a Master's degree from the University of Miami.

I have been a professional musician and educator for most of my life. In addition to education, I am a professional pianist, composer,and published author. Six of my books (on how to learn faster, easier with more success and less frustration) have been published, five (The Husky Gang Teaches...)by Warner Bros. and the most recent, Praciticing Sucks, But It Doesn't Have To! by Rowman and Littlefield

I love teaching. Teaching is my passion. To me, teaching isn't a job, it is a privilege. My students enjoy working with me because they say I make learning fun, accessible and easy.

Of course I teach piano, from beginner to advanced. I also teach pre k - grade 6, and I teach English in all its facets: reading, writing, comprehension, spelling, grammar for children and adults from k through college. I teach both online and in person, one on one, as well as in the classroom.
