About Paula Bright

I read at every moment possible--many genres, nonfiction, and most especially about--the teaching of reading! I loved teaching from the first day of student teaching. It quickly became obvious that I could examine a child's understanding of reading and writing and pinpoint the spots that caused problems.

I began to utilize this talent more and more, and eventually taught a class of third graders to tutor struggling first grade readers--I trained them in the ideas that I read about constantly--and we succeeded.

So not only did MY instruction work--but I am able to teach others to succeed with poor readers as well! I believe that I can succeed with you or your child, if you really want to learn.

I am willing to lower prices if your income does not allow you to afford the help your child or you need. That is why no prices are listed here. I use a sliding scale, and pray that those who contact me will be honest about what they can afford. Ideally, I'd earn the usual tutoring fees...But if you need it--and can't afford it--I will try to help you. EMAIL me to discuss it.
