sir i think Q no. 2 is wrong.sucrose has beta 2,1-glycosidic bond bcoz fructose is in beta configuration.

Hi Mahata in case of Sucrose the monomers are alpha-D-Glucose and Beta-D-Fructose , so the linkage will be alpha-1,2 linkage because the the functional carbon atoms of C1 and C2 of respective monomers will involve in glycosidic linkage.Of course some books gives in reverse direction in which Fructose is first monomer and glucose is second so linkage will become 2,1. But refer standard books like Lehinger. Thank you.

Sir, in question 5 there is replicase.i think replicase is the enzyme that causes replication.then how can RNA PolIII cause replication??

Hi Monalisa the fith question is prokaryotic replicase which is DNA pol-III is a correct answer ,and you are correct RNA-pol-III will not involve in replication.Answer key also its DNA pol-iii,please let me know if you have any clarifications :)
