About the Class

In this class, the presenter will help the students realize the beauty that lies behind the various functions we come across. When we say a person is ''beautiful'', we speak in context of how he looks. Similarly, we see the graph of a function to see its beauty.

We will see the most beautiful functions in Calculus in this session. This functions are the typical functions that find their way in the JEE & other examination papers. However, once we are able to talk to these functions, we will not have any problem attempting such questions.

Some of these functions include |x|+|y|=a, |y|=|sinx+1/a|, y=min{tanx, cotx}, y=sinx/x, |y|=({x}-1)², y=x+sinx, y=e^(-x)(sinx) amongst others. We will see their graphs and discover the beauty in them.

We will also discuss methods of finding the domain and range of functions & will solve some previous years questions asked in JEE & other exams.
