Nellie is a Canadian English teacher to speakers of other languages with a Doctor of Education specializing in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix. Nellie is involved in mentoring educators on how to improve instruction and learning by integrating technology and is the admin, coordinator and facilitator at Integrating Technology for Active Lifelong Learning (IT4ALL) with a team of other educators from around the world. IT4ALL provides professional development workshops via Blended Learning (BL) and Blended Online Learning (BOL) using Moodle and WiZiQ. Some of IT4ALL's popular workshops are: Moodle for Teachers (M4T) at all levels, WebQuest, TESOL, and e-Portfolio.
In addition, Nellie is involved in IT4ALL Global Exchange, IT4ALL Wiki, IT4ALL Connecting Online conferences, and IT4ALL Moodlemoot.
Nellie practices Mindfulness Practice, the Alexander Technique and Reiki. Nellie is an accredited PAIRS and Reiki practitioner with an interest in online distance healing.
