Teacher Entrepreneur is a teacher, trainer, consultant or expert, establishing his or her teaching business online. Most teachers work with schools and universities, not directly involved with student acquisition, marketing/ sales, branding activities. Nor, are they held responsible if enough students do not apply in a particular academic year. Their main job is to teach. Teacher Entrepreneur is different. He/ she is responsible for all aspects : teaching, recruiting, growth of business, marketing, feedback - everything needed to run a corporation, business or organization. This is especially true in the current context, when a lot of teachers are taking the online route to supplement their incomes or build their online teaching business. About the presenter:
Vikrama Dhiman

Vikrama Dhiman is a Certified Scrum Master and an Agile Process Consultant. He did his Masters in Technology in Systems Engineering from a Government of India Institute. He taught B. Tech students during his Masters stint. After his Masters, he worked as a Lecturer/ Reader at a premier Engineering Institute, teaching Basic Thermodynamics and Advanced Thermodynamics to B.Tech students. He also taught Advanced Computational Thermodynamics to students of M.Tech and built the Computational Thermodynamics Lab (Masters Level). He was recognized as "One of the most important faculty members" in his first year itself. After his first year as a teacher, he moved to the IT sector. He worked as a Business Analyst and Project Manager, handling teams in Presales, Marketing, Graphics Design as well as Development. He has extensive experience and knowledge of Internet Sales and Marketing as well as Product Development Methodologies. He currently works as a Product Manager with WiZiQ, bringing his teaching as well as technical experience. He is an active participant in Agile Community Worldwide and in association with ASCI Chandigarh Chapter, Agile Chandigarh and GoodAgile.com conducts various trainings across India. He is an active speaker in conferences and seminars related to Agile. He is one of the few teacher entrepreneurs on Internet - building his training business online.
