Objective

By the end of this session, the participant will be able to:

Understand the basic reading of a typical 6 second EKG strip

Understand the typical P-Q-R-S-T (and sometimes U) Components of and EKG strip

Know how to identify the following on an EKG strip:

Normal Sinus Rhythym

Bradycardia

Tachycardia

Supraventricular tachycardia

Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial Flutter

Ventrical Fibrillation

Heart Blocks

Asystole

The participant will also be able to see a sample 20 questions NCLEX simulated quiz.
