About the Class

In this session, the presenter will give a basic introduction to how graphs work & about the functions they represent. Graphs form the basic building blocks of Calculus. One can answers many questions on Calculus just by looking at graphs of the functions involved in the questions.

These include questions involving functions, their range and domain, limit, continuity, differentiability & non-differentiability and of course, Areas under curves.

You will learn how to sketch basic graphs, their applications and some theory of functions and their nature. We will also deal with Transcendental & Piecewise functions which are the major problematic portions for most of us. We will also learn some basic properties and nature of logarithmic, signum, modulus, greatest integer, least integer and fractional part functions in piecewise functions.

This session will be useful for all those appearing for competitive exams including JEE, AIEEE, CEE, CET & PET''s apart from those appearing for their board exams.

Language of instruction:

Keywords: calculus, graphs, functions, range, domain, limit, continuity, areas under curves, jee, aieee, cee, cet
