About the Class

Akanoo is the evolution of notes, made by Michael Gorski and Fabian Gebert, both German entrepreneurs. It is a virtual white board that allows you to pin and drag your notes in any way you like. Sharing and collaborating works with one click. However, from our experience with Mediabird Study Notes, we've learned that it is very important to not think in tools but rather in use cases and didactical approaches. Therefore, we'd like to discuss with you guys, how we could seamlessly integrate the tool in the Moodle learning environment and what the next features can be like. The staff at IT4ALL are volunteers, who are passionate about instruction and learning and making a difference in the world of online education. The network was founded by Dr. Nellie Deutsch in 2006. Dr. Nellie Deutsch (a Canadian instructional designer and curriculum development leader, who has been teaching English and integrating technology into her classes, and presenting, researching, writing, and providing consultation on Moodle for teachers. The team at Integrating Technology also organise online conferences such as the annual Connecting Online (CO09-CO13) and Online Moodlemoot (MMMVC11-13).
