About the Class

This is a FREE teacher training session for teachers of English or ESL (English as a Second Language).

In this class I will demo a new teaching method which aims to make course books redundant: You Are The Course Book empowers students and teachers in the classroom and allows them to reach their full potential by giving them the opportunity to produce the lesson material during the class, rather than studying a dusty old course book.

You are welcome to join us for the first part of this two-part series. The second part will follow next week.

Matt Purland is a lecturer in English Language. He has a BA Honours degree in Drama from the University of Wales and a Postgraduate Certificate in Further Education from the University of Derby. In 2002 he launched English Banana.com, which has become a hugely popular English language learning resource website (see above for more info).
