About Vicky Davis
Vicki Davis is a teacher and the IT director at Westwood Schools in Camilla, Georgia. Vicki co-created four award winning international wiki-centric projects, the Flat Classroom™ project, the NetGenEd™ Project, the Eracism Project™, the Horizon project, and Digiteen™ with teacher Julie Lindsay. Presently Vicky is working as a full time teacher and IT director at Westwood Schools in Camilla, Georgia. She writes her blogs at “Cool Cat Teacher Blogs” which has almost 3000 subscribers and is also awarded for the Best Teacher’s blog.
Vicky speaks for the companies like Google, Discovery and at many International Educational Technology Conferences. Further to name a few more achievements, she is a Discovery Star Educator, Google Certified teacher, Adobe Education Leader, has served as a judge for the US competition for Microsoft Innovative Educators Forum, a blogger for Lifetime Channel’s Morning show- The Balancing Act.
She is an ordinary country girl with the background in business did her graduation in management from Georgia Tech and then put her first step on the corporate ladder as a market analyst. After that she has experienced almost every kind of a role being a woman. She has been a General Manager in a cell phone company, a house wife, stay at home mom, an entrepreneur who developed websites and technology integration courses for business and school systems and then a teacher.
Being a mother of two school children, teaching was something that fascinated her a lot. So in 2002 she threw herself into almost all the educational PD courses and spent hundreds of hours practicing the different teaching methodologies. After bringing herself to perfection in the same field for few years she started blogging to make the children understand various fundamental shifts in learning styles.

Nellie holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in educational leadership specializing in curriculum & instruction and is an E-Learning Professional Development Specialist.
She is the founder of Integrating Technology for Active Lifelong Learning (IT4ALL), an online informal network of volunteers that provides free and low-cost professional development workshops for educators around the world. The hands-on workshops help teachers learn to integrate technology into blended and fully online classes for private and public courses.
