About the Class

This presentation is for individuals interested in starting or growing their business. In addition to talking about the skills required to start a business, we will also discuss the mindsets required to be successful. The skills needed to start your business are different from the skills you need to grow your business.

We'll discuss the feasibility of your business idea, free and inexpensive resources to help in planning your business, and how to grow your business once you decide what it should be.

In addition to being a part owner in multiple businesses I have experience working as a counselor for the Small Business Development Center network, here in the U.S. Our focus will be on practical approaches to entrepreneurship gained through experiience and training.

We will also introduce projects designed to assist small business owners at every level through The Pre-Business Incubator Group at MEETUP.COM and The Business Development Institute an online training portal that will be launched in March 2012.
