About the Class

The YU school partnership provides a 30 week moodle based certificate program for teachers in Jewish independent schools on the topics of integrating educational technology and differentiated instruction. In order to support teachers over the long term we also integrate the participants in an online ning based community of practice. This presentation will share some of our successes and challenges.

Naava Frank, Ed.D. is Director of Continuing Education and Professional Development at the Institute for University School Partnership at Yeshiva University. Naava was the founder and President of Knowledge Communities, a community benefit organization (501C3) devoted to promoting knowledge sharing and innovation among foundations and non-profits through the creation of learning communities and networks that focus on improving professional practice.

Naava holds an Ed.D. from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from Barnard College/Columbia University.
