About the Class

As your students write a persuasive essay, they affirm their thesis by presenting proofs that support the position they have chosen. But not everyone will agree with their position. Others may choose the opposing position. The refutation is the part of the essay where they describe that opposing position and respond to it.

In this FREE webinar, CiRCE certified teacher and longtime LTW instructor, Renee Mathis, will explain how to guide your students towards a thorough and meaningful refutation.

Language of instruction: English

Keywords: refutation, writing, classical education
