About the Class

While iPads and laptops have become ubiquitous in schools, there is still no easier tool to use in the classroom then pen and paper. Pen and paper is highly portable, easy to use and you don’t need and instruction manual to get started. Over the past several years many companies have released digital pen technologies that have many of the benefits of a traditional pen but offer a host of features that makes it ideal for the classroom and for online learning environments.

In this workshop you will learn about a range of digital pen technologies that can support note taking, collaboration, note capturing and interactive learning online. With the advent of digital pen technologies instructors and students can share their work and make classrooms more interactive in the process. Digital pen technologies are ideal for distance learning and allow instructors to create pencasts that can be posted to the web for students to access. Come learn about various digital pen solutions and how you can integrate these technologies in the work that you do.
