Title: Facilitating Problem Solving and Critical Thinking with Technology

Description: Critical Thinking and Problem Solving are two skills needed to be developed in students in order to prepare them for the 21st Century. No longer is it possible to prepare students for their future through older teaching methods of reading and memorizing. This session will present technologies for teachers that are available free and online that facilitate problem-solving and critical thinking.

Bio: MaryAnne is a Educational Technologist and International Educator specializing in online learning, blended learning, and digital & social media. She has over 16 years experience teaching k12 through college levels and has held the administrative titles of Instructional Designer, Director of Information, Learning & Technology, and Director of Distance Learning.
