Profile Summary
I have been a DONA certified labor doula since 2003. I am a writer and have had articles published in the International Doula Magazine & Midwifery Today. I have also written an article about Cervical Scar Tissue that has made its way many times around the internet. I have assisted in over 130 births but take fewer births since having 2 babies in the past 2.5 years. I gave birth to 2 children before I was a doula and 2 since. I was a HBA3C! I have been known as the VBAC queen in my town because of my passion for mama's on that journey. This has also led to my education and teaching about cervical scar tissue and how it affects labor. I have become a Doula Mentor over the past 5 years and enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge with the new doulas. This course was create because of them. I knew I could help beyond where I live. My true heart and passion has always been about educating families about birth. I'm thrilled to expand and teach the up and coming birth professionals.
