The easiest way to start grouping substances is by comparing their
physical properties. Some examples of commonly found Metals are: iron, copper, aluminium, magnesium, sodium, lead, zinc etc. Some examples of commonly found Non Metals are: carbon, sulphur, iodine, oxygen, hydrogen, etc.
