An Introduction to the German Language Public Class

About the Class

Kirsten will give an introduction to the German language covering the most important topics to get a brief overview and maybe a taste to learn this language more intensively.

Starting with the basic pronunciation of the alphabet and the differences between German and the other Germanic languages like English the students will learn about basic grammar rules, for example the conjugation of verbs in the present tense, the personal pronouns, the cases as well as vocabulary building and learning useful expressions for simple German conversations.

Every lesson will consist of a 30 min teaching part followed by a 15 min part where students can ask their questions.
