Dr. Michael Goldrick's role in higher education incorporates management and leadership responsibilities, teaching and learning duties and research activities. Dr. Goldrick's work focuses on providing an innovative and supportive learning environment in which a student can realize his true potential. He helps students to develop note-making skills and exam revision techniques that will help them build confidence and become successful learners.

This book introduces readers to some of the difficulties associated with implementing inclusive learning and teaching. As a strategy to achieve student centered principles, the book documents the creation of two initiatives:

   • The establishment of a virtual support service to combat academic isolation.

Adopting a living action research approach, this book describes how professional self-reflection and collaborative relationships with students can be used to improve student centeredness.
