About the Class
What are soft skills?
In a nutshell, SOFT SKILLS are those skills that do not form part of one’s academic curriculum. Nonetheless, these are very essential to get a job, keep a job, and rise in the job. Further, soft skills help us in maintaining a good relationship with people all around us – be it at home, in the workplace, or with friends and neighbours.
It is a combination of Communication Skills, Inter-Personal Skills, Analytical Skills, and Motivational Skills.
No wonder, it is the most sought after skills in the Personnel (HRD) Department. Employers today give a better rating to an employee with good soft skills and average domain skills than to one with excellent domain skills but not enough soft skills. Because domain skills can be acquired by short-term training, but soft skills require careful nurturing, honed by years of hard work. Soft skills can’t be acquired overnight.
Soft skills are an amalgam of speaking skills, persuasive skills, leadership skills, ethics, etiquette, analytical skills, and various other skills that together make up one’s personality.
And it is these skills that are taught in my classes. You may attend a few FREE classes to get a general idea of what SOFT SKILLS are, and how one may acquire them.
