About the Class
The session would provide an insight to the various goals of organizational decision making. We often fall into the trap of thinking that all organizational decision making have the goal of increasing productivity and profit only, but in actual fact if that is the case in any given organization it becomes vulnerable to be overtaken and even rendered irrelevant unsuspected by competitors. Organizations must cultivate a more robust approach to cover all goals that should get attention. Specifically, the goals of "success" and "resilience" should be added to "productivity" and "profit" goals. The presenter would explore the meaning and specific value added by each of these various goals to ensure a healthy and sustainable organization. The session would focus on knowledge-rich organizations in the knowledge economy.
