Definitions of static and kinetic friction. Discussion of problems on motion on a plane horizontal surface that offers friction and on inclined plane. The problems will require use of Newton's laws of motion. Discussion will be kept interactive throughout. This should enable attendees to clear their doubts and build the right concepts.

I have a Masters degree in Physics from the Agra University in India and a teaching degree from the same University. I taught Physics to Physics to the ICSE classes (equivalent to GCSE Physics) and ISC classes (equivalent to A-level Physics) at renowned English medium school, affiliated to Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi, located in north Inda, for more than two decades.
