About the Class

Welcome to the Crash Course in English -- we will go through the basic foundations of the English Language using powerpoints and videos. This is an open 'starter' class -- students may choose to sign up for Crash Course classes on many topics -- Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening, Grammar, Intercultural Communications and more with Prof. Teviot Fairservis (known as Teacher TV). I look forward to seeing you in class!

Currently based in Malaysia, I have taught English and Drama in China, Japan, Laos, and Thailand, as well as US universities including 5 years as an adj professor at Long Island University in New York. As director, educator and performer of East-West Fusion Theatre for more than 30 years - a nonprofit international touring theatre working with artists and scholars from Asia, I received "Master Teaching Artist" designations from the states of Connecticut and New York, and grants from the governments of India and Japan.
