About the Class

The Stella technique has a wide range of techniques for all reading activities from basic education demands ,learning English as a second language, public speaking , sales presentations, courtroom presentations of litigation.
The most important thing about this technique is it easy to with practice as most things worthwhile. I developed this over 40 years sharing with fellow Actors ,my Students ranging from 3rd grade to 12th grade most with learning disabilities of some kind which it has become common knowledge we all have one or more.
I am an teacher who truly enjoys the moment of discovery by my students and will work very hard to ensure they do whether in an open class or privately.
It is very valuable for actors especially for copy readings in auditions as well as script analysis as well as any presentational material.

Language of instruction: English

Keywords: improve comprehension, visualizing poetic prose, approach for actors to theartrical material scripts

Profile Summary

As a professional Actor and Drama teacher , I have been using unique technique that my mother and I developed ,over 40 years ago and have been using for the last ten years with ADD (attention deficit disorder students) privately and in the classroom, I am currently working with Autistic elementary school children, As a visual ,conceptual reader since 6 years old when the combination of The German Measles and Encephalitis which left me hyperactivity and a shortness of concentration there were no learning disability programs we were labeled mentally retarded. I worked on a way to read like everyone else. I did years of research spoke with some of the greatest minds of the time through a rehabilitation program my mother got me into in Providence Rhode Island in the 1960's. I learned I was a visual and conceptual learner while studying the functions of the brain.
