Thanks Ben for a great and informative session. You are doing a fabulous job for your students and your creativity as described in the Performance Tasks certainly has an appeal that I am interested in learning more about. Thank you again for providing the forum. Until my next POST, this is Priscilla with S.E.E. Speak Excellent English

This is just a reminder of tomorrow's session...hope to see everyone there! Remember, this is a participative event (check your mics and webcams) where all attendees drive the discourse. I may add my "two cents worth", but I'll be asking more questions than answering them!

Topics can be research and/or experience-driven as long as they pertain to teaching English to students of other languages (TESOL). TESOL Talk is intended to engage both pre and in-service English language educators, teachers, trainers, basically anyone who shares an interest in helping the English language learner.

Talk to you tomorrow!

Saludos!

Profile Summary

Benjamin Stewart's educational philosophy is to facilitate learners in becoming more apt to form valid, reliable, and unbias arguments, provide innovative solutions to real-life problems, make decisions that resolve cognitive conflict by developing understandings through a difference of opinion or perspective, and create innovative ways of communicating with others. His role is to move learners from being dependent, to independent, to interdependent individuals who are not afraid to take chances, share their successes and failures with others, and are concerned for the well-being of not only themselves, but for others as well. His goal is to help others become more daring, sharing, and caring individuals.
