About the Class

This is the last of my spring series of five classes and as I will be away for two weeks for the Iatefl conference in Brighton I have decided to do an early Easter lesson with reading, speaking, listening, chat work and, of course games. So, hope to see you all there. The level, as usual, is intermediate and you will get the most out of the class if you prepare in advance. You should download the "Vocabulary for Easter text " tutorial which you will find if you scroll to the bottom of my "Profile" page, and prepare the vocabulary items in this with the help of a good monolingual dictionary such as http://dictionary.reference.com/ or you may need to go to Wikipedia for some items, such as proper names.

It is useful if you can speak in class so please check your "device settings" before you come to class. You can do this easily by clicking on the "launch" the class button and then on the "check your device settings". If you do this it means that you can speak more easily in class and we have fewer problems of echo etc.

See you on Saturday :-)

Unfortunately I come late to post any comments, but I keep optimistic, better late than never. It's my pleasure to express my big joy when I see your lessons (recording). I am very impressed by your patience, your attention to each of your students, the competitive spirit you try to inculcate in their minds and how you get them involved in the lesson. Very amazing, helpful and didactic manner of teaching. I have never been taught by a native, more skills are acquired within the process of learning, spontaneously. I wish I could one day be one of your students.

Dear Sandy,
You don't need any special software, but the class has actually just finished. You can watch the recording later when it has been prepared (in one or two hours) and then you can come to the next class. Just register and then click on the button that says: "launch the class"
