CS Sonnja is waiting for her guests. She offer the following program so far:

ACCOMMODATION:
- I will find a list of willing HOSTS you can contact,
- There is STEFFIS HOSTEL near station
- International Youth Hostel
- Hotels, Pensionen
MEETING POINT
near station (where also the buses from airport Frankfurt arrive) ... you get a tea, coffee, orange juice or champagne ... and a Butterbrezel, a MAP with traffic plan and infos of Heidelberg AND INFORMATION
EVENTS:
- sightseeing tour by bus
- wine tasting
(- Jazz party on a river ship ....) not sure
- oldest Jazz club in Germany 1953
- there are museums and a lot of culture ...
- "student prince" theater in the castle courtyard in English ...
- classical concerts in the castle courtyard
- student pub with piano player and singing guests
.... I will prepare him with the CD of Cadence so we can sing together .... :0)
As in Heidelberg is the German Institute for Cancer Research and therapy
another event could be:
- a report about the last results of cancer research (in English) ... including answering questions
- visiting of Heidelberg Print Academy and factory for print machines HEIDELBERGER DRUCK
- visiting of HEIDELBERGER BRAUEREI and beer tasting
- philosophers path with beautiful view
- walk to Heidelberg castle or by Bergbahn .... €
- German Pharmacy museum
- old and new University, with impressive old library
- German wine road with "Freinsheim" which has a full town wall around
- River shipping on the Neckar to small castles
or to the Rhine
- old Pubs visit .... there are about 50 in the main street and more around ...
- Heiligenberg with an open air theater for 8000 people in the forest and 2 ruins of monesterys ... view down to town and castle (we can make a picnic there ... with some bottles of wine ... and nice cheese and bread .... when our young CS here help: barbecue ... original Bratwurst ...
- fire work and glowing castle ....
- Zoo Heidelberg
- 3 outdoor Swimming pools one half indoor in the forest
- Jazz martini in a pub/restaurant in SCHWETZINGEN with lunch (not expensive and typical); CASTLE with widespread beautiful "french garden", brewery-pub
- eat in the Marstall Heidelberg built 1510 a students mensa (buffet whole day)
- with the tram along the Berstraße to WEINHEIM: 2 castles, castle park, Exoten-forest Mammut trees :0), experimental nature garden, old marketplace, best Jazz-club in Germany
- LADENBURG little old town, framework houses, nice coffee house and pubs .... some old Roman walls
- MANNHEIM Quadrate-city, castle (University), shopping streets, Marketplace, many historic buildings !!! look in Google
