About the Class

Overview of the GMAT verbal section and the 3 question types, followed by brief discussion on Critical Reasoning (CR) and Sentence Correction (SC)



  • CR: Meaning of argument (with example), identifying premise and conclusion in an argument, and using simple logical reasoning to determine the hidden assumption

  • Application of the above technique to solve GMAT assumption questions from OG

  • SC: Most basic error type (Subject-Verb Agreement), Examples of singular subjects that may be wrongly interpreted as plural and vice versa, Identifying subject verb agreement errors in complex sentences

  • Application of the above technique to actual GMAT SC questions
    Examples of logical (not grammatical) errors in SC questions, and identifying such errors to GMAT OG questions.
