I hope the following information about the audio problems with this morning's class is helpful . . .

Audio sounded as if mic level was set too high. If you are using Linux, check the microphone settings in your audio mixer.
Also sounded like intermittent ground at times.

And a few questions about accessing the class . . .

Which distribution are you using? I am in the United States, and my local Community Colege requires Windows, but my OS of choice is Mandriva Linux, so I can access the classes from either platform. Which is preferred?
