GIVE - Its Philosophy & Vision
Gaurannga Institute for Vedic Education (GIVE) is an educational institution providing knowledge of Bhagavad-gita in a systematic way. The knowledge of Bhagavad-gita is non sectarian, non religious and universal.
In the last 3 decades it has been thought that a reasonably high Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), Physical Quotient (PQ) helps one to be successful in life. But the latest findings of this decade have proved that without a good level of Spiritual Quotient (SQ) one cannot attain complete success.
For improving PQ there are gyms, physical yoga classes etc, for improving Intelligence Quotient (IQ) there are innumerable schools, colleges, etc. Similarly, to improve one's Emotional Quotient (EQ) there are numerous books, motivational gurus, physiatrists, meditation techniques etc. But for improving the most important facet of our life, that is the Spiritual aspect there is nothing. We all are Spiritual beings and thus we need to look into the spiritual side of our personality, lest we become handicapped beings. But you may think that there are so many books on spirituality and so many modern day Gurus who are talking about spirituality then why GIVE? We very humbly beg to state strongly that most of the books and speakers are talking about our emotional health which is connected to the mind than our very spiritual being. The mind is ours we are not the mind. The mind may be compared to the branches of a tree and the spiritual being to the root. When you put water and manure to the root, the trunk, branches, leaves, flowers and the fruit are all well nourished simultaneously. I hope this example will help you to understand the importance of Spiritual knowledge or increasing our Spiritual Quotient. When developed, it has a great impact on your overall performance which leads to a Holistic Personality, a prerequisite for complete success.
The knowledge in the Bhagavad-gita helps to develop ones SQ. At GIVE our only purpose is to help you to take Spiritual knowledge which will go a long way to develop your SQ. Thus you will build a Holistic personality by which you will be able to face all tribulations in life and thus be successful.
