Quantitative Methods is one of the most important sections on the CFA Level 1 Exam in December 2008. It covers topics like probability, statistics, hypothesis testing etc. These basic mathematical concepts are extensively applied in other advanced sections like Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Portfolio Management. Hence it is vital that every CFA student has a strong understanding of the math concepts before taking the CFA exam.
