PIH can lead to serious pathology in pregnant woman. Prevention of the problem and ways of helping the woman who is suffering symptoms will be covered in this 60 min. class. Log onto the site 10 mins before the class starts and stay after class to socialize with other attendees. Scheduled for 90 mins, 60 mins of teaching time.

wow! I learned so much! I am devistated that when I was in the middle of preeclampsia... no one told me this stuff. I ate very healthy durring pregnancy... but avoided salt like the plague, citrus gave me heart burn and I am sure I didn't eat enough meat.(although what I ate was of good quality.) I saw 6 different midwives at the MD practice and one at the birthing center (that I ended up disqualifying for) I am just bewildered that no one mentioned this to me. I asked over and over again what could be causing it... and was there anything I could do to help the situation. My son was born by emergency c-section 9 weeks early... instead of birthing my son gently in a pool of warm water... we spent 6 weeks in the NICU ..... After almost 6 months of working on breastfeeding with 2 lactation consultants and an OT... I finally gave up to the pump. wow! That is so unfair! Thank you so much for getting this information out there!!
