About the Class: |
|
Phrasal verbs are verbs that combine with prepositions or adverbs to give a new meaning to the original verb.
Take for instance, the Verb ‘get’. When this verb is combined with ‘up’ to form ‘get up’ the meaning completely changes.
These verbs though used commonly are often very confusing. In this session a few selected phrasal verbs would be discussed and practiced. This would give an insight to the learner into the ways in which prepositions define the scope of verbs.
The attendees would benefit immensely in terms of improvement in their spoken as well as written skills by understanding these special kinds of verbs.
Participants are suggested to view the previous sessions by the presenter including the first session on Phrasal Verbs. You can view the recordings from here: Namrata Arora.
