About the Class:
The session will specifically be dedicated towards the Issue Task in the AWA section. The aim of the session is to provide an in – depth knowledge about the Issue Task. The presenter will discuss the steps that can be taken to prepare for the Issue Task so that before actually embarking upon the project, the candidate is familiar with the strategies for tackling the question. The score relies heavily on the Choice of the issue topic. Which topic should a candidate choose and how he/ she should develop it is vital to the score. The session also takes up how to make the optimum use of the time allotted for the question. A sample essay will be developed so that the attendees get an idea about the actual process of writing the Issue Task. The session will cover the given points :
  • Preparation for attempting the Issue Task
  • Selection of Topic
  • Attempting the Issue Task
  • Utilization of Time
  • Solving a Sample Question

About the presenter: Supreet Seher
Supreet Seher has done masters and M Phil in English. She has been teaching students in various age groups and diverse backgrounds for 16 years. Her stints at various places and positions has given her an insight into the teaching arena. Besides being a teacher she has also been Principal for two years. Though she is keenly interested in developing academic and educational content her forte is creative writing. Her innovative and interactive teaching techniques coupled with her adaptability makes her lessons interesting.
